Interest Applications are now available for children 3, 4, and 5 year old's (not eligible for Kindergarten) who's birthday falls before December 2nd of 2022.

Nestle California State Preschool Program (CSPP) Part-Day

The Nestle Preschool CSPP Part-Day Program is a three-hour educational program for children ages three and four years old providing personalized learning experiences before children enter kindergarten. This program is free for qualifying families and located on the Nestle Ave. Charter Elementary Campus.

 

COVID Requirements/restrictions

LAUSD policy suggest that students wear masks but they're no longer required.

Toilet Training Requirement

Children are required to attain independence in toileting habits without the aid of diapers. Although we know children of this age will have occasional accidents, consistent issues during the school day is cause for termination of services.

 

Income Qualifying Guidelines

Families must complete an application and provide supporting documentation demonstrating gross family income at or below 70% of the state median income.

 

Priority & Rank Guidelines for Enrollment

1st Priority:

is given to children receiving child protective services or who are at risk of abuse, neglect, and/or exploitation. 

 

2nd Priority:

is given to Nestle Ave Residential-Boundary eligible four-year-old's (Defined as children turning 4 on or before December 1 of the school year, who are not age-eligible to attend TK or Kindergarten). 

 

3rd Priority:

is given to Residential eligible three-year-old's (Defined as children turning 3 on or before December 1 of the school year). 

 

4th & 5th Priority:

is given to eligible four- and three-year-old’s whose families live out of the school's residential boundaries.

 

RANK:

Number associated with a family’s adjusted gross income to family-size.

 

Wait List

Family's that are unable to enroll due to limited space in our program will be placed on our Wait List until a seat becomes available.

Enrollment will continue to follow Priority and Ranking Guidelines,

Eligibility applications are only valid for 6 months.

 

Preschool Class Schedule

Monday through Friday following the traditional school year calendar.

We offer two classes to choose from:

“AM” Morning Session (8am - 11am)*

“PM” Afternoon Session (11:30am - 2:30pm)*
