Nestle News (February 23, 2026) Weekly Parent Bulletin

Hello families,

Together We Make Nestle Thrive

As February comes to a close, I just want to take a moment to reflect on how special this month has been for our school community. When I look back at Funival, Lunch Bunch, STEAM Night, the Glow Assembly, Nestle’s Got Talent, our mural project, Beautification Days and all the little moments in between, I’m reminded of how much heart, time, and energy our staff, PTA, and so many of you pour into this school. Families’ involvement and partnership truly bring these experiences to life for our children.

This month, we also recognized students who demonstrated generosity. We talked about how generosity isn’t just about giving things. It is about giving your time, your kindness, your encouragement, even a simple smile. In many ways, our students are reflecting what they see from you. They are learning from the example the adults in their lives set every day.

One moment that really stayed with me was during Lunch Bunch. I saw so many families naturally make room at their tables for a child whose parent was not able to attend. There was no spotlight, no announcement, just quiet kindness. Watching adults extend that welcome so effortlessly was incredibly heartwarming. When we open our circle and embrace each other’s children as part of our shared Nestle family, it creates a sense of belonging that benefits every single student. That is the kind of community that leaves a lasting impact.

Family involvement truly matters. Research consistently shows that when families, staff, and PTA work together, students achieve more, attend more consistently, and feel more connected to school. Support does not always have to mean volunteering at every event. Sometimes support looks like speaking positively about our school, reinforcing pride in front of our children, and bringing forward concerns in ways that help us move toward thoughtful solutions that strengthen the entire community. When we approach challenges with collaboration and a desire to improve together, everyone benefits.

Thank you for your generosity, your partnership, and the many ways, big and small, that you show up for Nestle. Together, we are creating a school where students feel supported, connected, and proud to belong. And that is something truly special.

Warmly,

Principal DiLorenzo
