Nestle News (October 6, 2025) Weekly Parent Bulletin
Dear Nestle Families,
Funival -October 26th
Nestle’s Annual Funival is almost here! Our amazing PTA is bringing the magic with fun booths hosted by each class, a spooky haunted house, delicious food, a pumpkin photo booth, bounce houses, a costume contest, and so much more! There will also be great prizes to be won throughout the night. I can’t wait!
To make this event a success, we need the support of all our families. Check your email for details, and look out for flyers coming home on Monday or Tuesday.
Drop Off and Pick Up
I want to take a moment to thank you for all you do each morning and afternoon to get our students safely to and from school. I know firsthand the stress that can come with drop off and pick up, especially when you are trying to get your child to school on time and then head straight to work. For many years, I was in the same position, and I remember how challenging those moments could feel.
At Nestle, we do not have a valet system, which requires parent volunteers and LAPD training. Even without that system in place, we can all do our part to make drop off and pick up safe and smooth for everyone. Please remember to always pull up to the curb and have your child exit from the sidewalk side of the car. These small actions make a big difference in keeping all of our students safe.
Intervention & Enrichment
I’m excited to share that we are using school funds to bring new opportunities to our students. After-school intervention will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays, and enrichment classes in robotics and coding will also be available. Flyers and invitations will be coming home soon!
Even though our annual donation drive has ended, we still need your support. Family donations make it possible to fund field trips, provide extra help from school aides, and create fun activities for our students. One of my goals is to open a science lab on campus, a space where children can explore and learn hands-on. With your continued generosity, we can make this dream a reality.
Thank you for helping us provide the very best for our kids.
In Unity,
Mrs. DiLorenzo
