Nestle News (April 6, 2026) Weekly Parent Bulletin

Hello families,  and Welcome back!

I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable Spring Break and were able to recharge. And for those who celebrate, Happy Easter. I hope it was a joyful time with your loved ones.

As we return, I do want to acknowledge that there is some uncertainty about a possible strike next week. We’ll be sure to keep you updated, but in the meantime, we are really focused on making the most of every school day and continuing to support your children.

I also want to take a moment to talk about our Springboard program. It has been so nice to see many of our primary parents coming in to read with their children on those designated days. That time together is incredibly valuable and really supports your child’s progress in reading. We truly encourage you to continue making this a priority whenever possible—it has a strong impact on your child’s success.  I also want to give a special thank you to our teachers, who are working extremely hard to make this opportunity possible for your children.

We’re also looking forward to Open House at the end of the month, where you’ll be able to come in, see your child’s work, and celebrate all of their growth this year.

And finally, state testing is starting soon. This is an important time for students to show what they’ve learned, and you can really help by making sure your child gets a good night’s sleep, eats a healthy breakfast, and arrives at school on time each day. Your support makes a big difference in helping them feel confident and ready.

Thank you again for your continued support—we appreciate you and look forward to a great week ahead.

Warmly,

Principal DiLorenzo
