Parent Bulletin (April 04th, 2022) Nestle Ave ES
Good Evening Nestle Families, I hope you had an enjoyable weekend. The fundraiser money and forms can be turned in tomorrow, Monday. Thank you for participating and assisting Nestle students. Money earned from fundraisers will go toward paying for busses for fieldtrips next year and we will also need the PTA to help raise money for our psychomotor program next year. Thank you to our PTA president, Laura Casillas for her hard work this year in support of all of Nestle's students. Spring Break will begin April 11-15. This Friday is a minimum day; dismissal is at 12:55pm. Before leaving for Spring Break, every staff member and every student will be given 2 Covid anti-body tests and asked to self-administer the test 48 hours before returning to school (April 16th or April 17th). If the test is positive, students must stay home to quarantine for at least 5 days, test again on Day 5 and if negative, return to school on Day 6. Positive cases will contact primary doctor and upload positive tests (name, DOB and test date written on a piece of paper) to the Daily Pass. If still positive on Day 5, student will quarantine for 5 more days for a total of 10 days. If student is Negative, then no further action is needed and student will return to school. If a staff member is Positive, staff does not come to work. They have an additional step of getting a PCR test immediately, contact doctor and upload tests to the Daily Pass. Regular Covid testing will resume after we return from Spring Break on Wednesdays as usual. Please follow these protocols to ensure everyone’s safety. There is a Coffee with the Superintendent on April 5th and various parent workshops. Please see attachments. Finally, tomorrow morning there will be a Virtual Awards Assembly at 8:40. Zoom ID is: 820 1044 7277; passcode: awards.
