Good evening, Nestle Neutrons. I hope your weekend was enjoyable and/or restful.  Thank you to those of you who attended our Nowruz Celebration.  It was great seeing so many of you in attendance and the students did an excellent job.  The PTA will sponsor a fundraiser starting Monday.  Please click on the link for more information: PacificNEW2022 PROMO With Intro Jeremy  Congratulations to our awesome Kangaroo Math competitors.  Our 4th and 5th graders competed on Thursday in the National Kangaroo Math Competition.  Final Scores will be announced in about a month.  In my book, they are all winners, no matter what the outcome. Next, we will offer Accelerated Math classes after school to 4th and 5th graders with strong Math skills in preparation for testing that can place them in the advanced math classes in Middle School. We already offer Intervention classes to students after school and during school in English Language Arts and Math. PTA is sponsoring a Fundraiser beginning Monday.  Please see the attached bulletin for details. Please join Board District 4 member Nick Melvoin and our new Supt. Carvalho for a Virtual Town Hall on Wednesday, March 23rd from 4:00-5:00pm, See the attached flyer for more information. Also, there will be a parent workshop on the Power of Resilience by Betsy Brown Braun, Wednesday, March 23rd at 7:00pm. Please see the attached flyer for zoom information. As you may know, the District has decided that staff and students may choose to go mask-less while indoors.  It is strongly recommended that everyone continue to mask indoors.  Labor partners will vote to ratify the new agreements and the policy is expected to go into effect no later than Wednesday, March 23, 2022.  Thanks for reading and have a great week.
