Parent Bulletin (February 28th, 2022) Nestle Ave ES
Spring Picture Day is Thursday, March 3rd
Good evening Nestle Neutrons, I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend. We will be resuming our valet drop-off service on Tarzana effective Monday. Parents, as a reminder, please stay in your automobiles as staff members come to you to scan your phones or QR codes. Please have the QR code ready to expedite the procedures. Students will enter thru the 4/5 gr gate or the 3rd grade gate. Valets will be available at both gates. Nestle Ave. traffic should be for kinders, 1st gr or 2nd grade only. 1st and 2nd graders may also utilize the valet.
THURSDAY, we have Spring Picture Day and a Parent workshop presented by our PSW (Psychiatric Social Worker) Kimberly Hirsch at 9:30am. The topic is: Sibling Rivalry, Friendships, and Teaching Conflict Resolution. See the Parent Bulletin for zoom information. The Persian Class has moved to Tuesdays from 2:00-4:00pm, still in the library. Lastly, I am requesting parents to please be respectful of our neighbors whose homes border Nestle. During drop-off and pick-up, we have had many instances of rude verbal exchanges, disrespect of neighbor’s driveways, trash cans moved and even a threatened physical assault against a neighbor. All of this is absolutely unacceptable and more importantly, ILLEGAL. School Police and LAPD will be more of a presence going forward
