Parent Bulletin (January 17th, 2022) Nestle Ave ES 2021-22

Good evening Nestle Families.  I hope you are all well and enjoying your 3 day weekend.  School is closed on Monday in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday.  School resumes on Tuesday. Not surprisingly we had some Positive Covid Test Results from Thursday's testing. Many students became ill after their baseline test last week and before school started. If your child becomes ill, please do not send them to school and make sure to get a Covid test as soon as possible. If you have tested Positive, you must quarantine at home.  You may get a Rapid Antigen Test on Day 5 and if it is Negative, you may return to school on Day 6.  Asymptomatic Close Contacts may stay at school and be tested on Day 5.  If the PCR or Antigen test is Negative, they are no longer to be monitored.  If family members are Positive, either siblings or parents, and the student is Negative, he or she has to quarantine for 10 days. I realize it can be a bit complicated, but I'm happy to explain if it pertains to your child. Not everyone will find themselves facing these issues.  The District continues to refine and amend these policies, so I will notify you of those changes as they occur.  In the meantime, please continue to upload any external tests to the Daily Pass.  Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we try our best to provide our students the best possible instruction in these very challenging times.
