Parent Bulletin (January 10th, 2022) Nestle Ave ES 2021-22
Hello Nestle Neutrons!!! I hope everyone enjoyed the Winter Break. We have some increased challenges with the emergence of the Omicron Covid Variant and some new protocols to address it. Please read the attachments which outline some of the new protocols. Everyone must present proof of a Negative Covid Test in order to enter campus on Tuesday, the first day of school. If a student or staff member tested Positive, they must either have already quarantined for 10 days. If testing positive within the last 10 days, you may take an Antigen Test on Day 5. If the Antigen test is Negative, you may return to school on Day 6. Please also upload any External or Home Tests to the Daily Pass. There is also a new mask requirement. In line with CDC recommendations, cloth masks are no longer allowed by either staff or students. The District will supply medical grade masks for everyone, which will be available at all entry points and gates. I am also recommending the use of KN95 masks and KN95 Respirator masks when possible. Thank you for your support and patience as we meet the challenges ahead. Our focus and primary goal is to provide a safe and supportive learning environment for our wonderful students and staff. Have a great week!!
