Nestle Office Closure beginning Thursday, December 10th
12/07/2020
Hello, this is Principal Gray.
I want to reiterate the message Superintendent Beutner shared. Because of the dangerously high level of COVID-19 in the Los Angeles area, it is no longer safe and appropriate to have any students or staff on campus. We are asking those who are currently working at schools to work from home if at all possible for the rest of the semester.
Effective Thursday, December 10th, there are no student programs on campus such as childcare, athletic conditioning, in-person tutoring, assessments and any in-person services for Special Education. Our staff will work to transition in-person services such as tutoring and assessment to virtual online services.
If you need technology support, please contact the main office at 818-342-6148. Although the office will be closed, we will still be answering calls during the school day.
Scholastic book sets will continue to available Tuesday and Wednesday only. If you want your child to have these books during the Winter Break, you must come tomorrow or Wednesday as we will be shut down on Thursday, December 10th. Rm 19 will be open Tuesday and Wednesday, all day, from 8:00-3:00. Please follow the 6 feet apart blue tape indicators outside Rm 19 and please wear masks.
The Grab & Go Food Centers and COVID-19 testing sites will remain open.
These changes at schools will remain in effect until the next school semester begins on January11. We’ll continue to evaluate the situation and provide updated information along the way. Thank you for your continued support.
